National Adult Day Service Association provides:
- On-going advocacy and representation with national policy makers and funding sources.
- It is only through our membership that our voice is heard in Washington, DC and across the nation. In the past year, NADSA has been instrumental in representing us in the following ways:
- Actively advocating the reauthorization of the Older Americans Act – a significant piece of legislation that directly affects support and funding for home and community based services such as adult day services.
- Following and giving input into the Life Span Respite Bill. This bill gives dollars to support respite for persons of al ages. Adult day providers stand ready to provide such respite to many individuals in need of this service.
- Representation on the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations, a prestigious coalition of national non-profit organizations concerned with the well-being of the America’s older population and representing its interest in the public arena.
